A nice overview that might just remind you of things you forgot.

Summary of Findings Potential impacts are the same calendaring impacts that affect Office Outlook, including: · Meetings, time stamps, and so on, being off by one hour. · Missed meetings.
User interaction is required to mitigate the impact.

Windows Mobile 47,000
Updated cabinet (CAB) file via cradled solution or Over the Air (OTA)
Pre-notification to users with instructions once OS Update tool has run

(okay that confirms that they have no way to push out that patch
either... I was going how in the WORLD are they automagically deploying
that?)

Windows Vista (with the 2007 Office System) Approximately 65,000
Microsoft IT internal users are working on the Windows Vista/2007 Office
system platform. The dynamic detection in the 2007 Office system has
prompted all of these users to complete the Outlook rebasing process.
The sequence of events for automatic rebasing was as follows:
1. From January 1 through January 8, 2007, Windows Vista/2007 Office
system users were automatically prompted to update calendar items with
the new DST rules.
2. Users received a pop-up window from within Outlook, requiring them to
confirm appointments that were rebased according to the new rules.
3. This new experience confused many users, and most did not complete
the calendar rebasing. The result: A. Most users canceled the Outlook
rebasing process. B. For those who completed the rebasing process, at
the time, the process took one to four hours to complete.
C. There is no mechanism to determine whether the Outlook rebasing was
completely successful.

IntelliAdmin with their patch for the DST changes habe been accused of a non complete fix. The answers below take away any doubts.

I have also contacted intelliadmin, here is their reply:

Point 1:  The Intelliadmin tool is missing about 25 or so daylight saving time zone database changes from other countries.

This is true. We only update US and Canada. We will be coming out with an update shortly that will resolve this (All timezones outside USA and
Canada)

Point 2:  The Intelliadmin tool doesn't create the Dynamic DST registry keys under the time zone database entries that require them.

This is a lie. We do create the Dynamic DST keys. Check the registry after our patch. It is so easy to see that they are there.

Point 3:  You definitely SHOULD NOT use the Intelliadmin tool on non-English builds of Windows.  (It has hard-coded English standard and daylight value names).

This is a lie. Our patch works fine with Foreign language versions of windows. It looks up the language name of the timezone to do the update.

Point 4:  The Intelliadmin tool makes no attempt to notify Windows that it needs to reread the time zone database.  That means that if you just run the Intelliadmin tool, you need to reboot every machine to have the OS recognize the changes.

This is also a lie. We update the CurrentControlSet, thus not needing the control panel refresh that many of the VB scripts do out there.

Overview

After applying a version of Store.exe that is later than 06.05.7651.26 on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the Exchange databases may fail to mount if the security descriptor of the database object has been modified to include a well-known user or group and more than one domain exists in the forest. This problem can also occur if a security identifier (SID) in the database object has conflicting values with another object in Active Directory directory service for one of the following attributes:
  • objectSID
  • msExchMasterAccountSid
  • SIDHistory
These three attributes must be unique within the forest.

In the above conditions the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service will experience an ecAmbiguousAlias error when enumerating the groups and users that are assigned permissions to the store databases objects in Active Directory. This error prevents the affected database from mounting.

This update will enable the database object to be mounted by ignoring the well-known group objects and logging an error message when two objects are returned for a single SID.
